Buster B. Jones was an American guitarist and music teacher born on March 9, 1955, in Rochester, New York. He was known for his virtuosic fingerstyle guitar playing and for his talent in blending different genres of music such as blues, country, jazz, and rock.
Jones began playing the guitar when he was seven years old. In the 1980s, he became a popular guitarist in Nashville, Tennessee, where he worked as a session musician and performed with top country artists such as Reba McEntire, Dwight Yoakam, and Dolly Parton.
He also released six solo albums in his career, showcasing his diverse musical styles and impressive guitar skills. In addition to his music career, Jones was also a respected guitar instructor, teaching at various music schools and holding workshops and seminars for aspiring guitarists.
Sadly, Jones passed away on February 7, 2009, at the age of 53 due to a heart attack. Despite his untimely death, his legacy as a skilled musician and passionate teacher continues to inspire and influence guitar players around the world.
